Other than the fact there’s a clear difference between Cubot J3’s height and Cubot J3 Pro’s height, the other noticeable contrast between the two phones is the addition of another camera to the Pro version. In fact, the dual rear cameras are set up in an iPhone X-like manner. Apart from these two differences, Cubot J3 Pro is very similar to the Cubot J3. MediaTek MT6739 chipset sits at the heart of the phone to power it up. It holds a Quad-core CPU that clocks at 1.5GHz speed. Also on the chipset, the PowerVR GE8100 GPU is present to provide the smartphone’s graphics. In the display section, a comfortable 5.5 inches IPS touchscreen with 480 x 960 pixels controls the output of images, videos and other forms of media. Like the Cubot J3, this device runs on the Android Oreo Go edition. Images at the front are captured by a 5MP shooter while the rear photography is handled by 13MP + 2MP shooters. The battery capacity of this phone is 2,800mAh which is 800mAh more than that of J3’s 2,000mAh. Elsewhere, the memory configuration of this device remains exactly like that of Cubot J3, that is, 1GB RAM plus 16GB internal storage. It is noteworthy that this internal memory can be expanded to 128GB with the use of a MicroSD card.
